Free 15 Minute Phone Consultation

In order for us to determine whether we might be a good fit together, you may have some questions for me, and I of you.  At that time, I will try to get a sense of what you need, what would be helpful, and whether I am the best fit for you.  You may also have questions about what to expect, about my experience, or anything else that might help you determine whether you would want to work with me.  I encourage you to ask whatever it is that you need in order to assess whether counseling with me is right for you at this time.  If we decide together that this might be a good fit, we will schedule the first appointment.

Initial Appointment

The first time we meet, it will be a time for us to begin getting to know each other.  At this time, I will ask you about your relevant history - who you are, where you are from, and more details about what brings you here.  We will also talk about "housekeeping" types of things, such as my fees, ongoing appointment scheduling, office policies, and any questions you might have for me and our work together.  At the end of the session, we will discuss what might be the next steps for addressing your concerns.

To prepare for your first appointment, please thoroughly review my Privacy Statement and Agreement to Services Form and sign it, and be sure to keep a copy for your records.  I will also send you my Initial Appointment Form, and complete it to the best of your ability.  Bring any paper forms to the first appointment.  Please arrive 10 minutes early so that I have the opportunity to read your paperwork before we begin.  Please do not email them to me, as email is not a secure form of communication, and your privacy is very important to me.
